Our commitment to ume cultivation is based on the “pesticide reduction method”. The Yamamoto family has been certified as a special cultivation farm* and will continue to grow ume plums together with their family. It is a warm plum wine made by a warm plum farmer.

This time, Mr. Yuzuru Yamamoto, a plum farmer in Wakayama, has developed a new plum wine called “Ryujin Orai”, which is made from 100% Nanko plums grown with less agricultural chemicals.”

In the Edo period (1603-1868), this was the name of a route in the mountains from Wakayama to Edo and Osaka to deliver local specialties.
